    Preheat the broiler and set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat.

    Warm the frozen turkey meatballs through in a saucepan with the marinara sauce over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is simmering, about 8–10 minutes.

    While the meatballs warm, split the hoagie rolls lengthwise (not all the way through) and arrange them cut-side up on a sheet pan.

    Toast the rolls under the broiler for 1 minute, just until lightly golden, then remove.

    Load each roll with 3–4 meatballs and a generous spoonful of marinara sauce.

    Top with a layer of shredded mozzarella and return the sheet pan to the broiler for about 2 minutes, watching closely, until the cheese is melted and bubbling with light golden spots.
